Wireless Gun
What is a stun gun? Well, first, not a gun in ordinary terms because it does not shoot anything. A stun gun is not a device e given a lethal high voltage, low amperage shock. Tapping an attacker and stopped dead in its tracks.
The voltage of a stun gun is usually between 80,000 to 1 million volts. The higher the voltage, the more effective the device is in the adoption by the bad.
However, it is the amperage of the gun crippling damage done. Most Stun Guns energy use 2.5 mA to leave the attacker. A thousand milliamps (1 amp) is lethal to humans, so the much lower intensity in a stun gun is not designed to be lethal, but only to give the attacker the fright of his life "and immediately turn off he.
When you press the two-pronged end of the stun gun against an attacker and pull the trigger, an electric charge passes to his body. This causes immediate disability and that the stun gun, not pain, is the main effect of the shock.
Touching an attacker with a stun gun, the shock causes the body away from all the sugar in the blood that muscles depend on energy, making it almost impossible to move. And no matter where you touch the attacker, because there are muscles throughout your body. So this means that only one touch will make the attacker muscles refuse to work and gives you time to escape and call 911.
The length of time a stun gun is in contact with the attacker to determine what effect will occur. A second contact will surprise those attacker and cause muscle contractions. Two to three seconds of contact makes him fall to the ground, dazed. Three or more seconds of contact will result in loss of balance and control muscle and total mental confusion and disorientation. These effects are not lethal and can last up to 15 minutes without long-term effects.
A stun gun may be used again and again because it works with a battery. Even a band of thugs is not the idea of messing with you after the second attacker put down!
A larger question everyone seems to be "Can I get a shock if I'm playing the attacker?" The answer is "No", because the electric charge coming from the stun gun used on attacker's muscles. This means that there is enough power left for the office to back out of his body and yours.
Stun Guns come in various sizes and shapes. Some are small enough to be hidden by his hand, some are curved, some straight and some even seem cell phones or flashlights. Most models have a safety switch to prevent accidental activation.
But no matter what they seem, 1-3 in touch for the second time an attacker will make you wish that had never been elected to a potential victim.
Instruments of restraint are legal in most cities and states, but you should check out your local laws. Call your police department to see if it's good to have a stun gun.
