2 Stars VERY overpriced!!!
I purchased this locally on clearance at the world’s largest discount store for 40, tax included. I was shocked that this originally sold for about 60 and really it should never cost more than 40. I render my rationale for a generous fair price: socks are typical socks w/ nubs on the bottom to prevent slipping, so 2.00 FP (Dollar Tree has 3 pairs of colored ones w/ nubs for 1.00); protective silicon sleeve 8.00 FP as all silicon baking mats of similar wt./size have come down in price; very thin yoga mat w/o a carrying case 7.00 FP which could be purchased at any discount store-I saved the original box to store it in until I purchase a cloth case; 4 AA rechargeable battery pack w/ USB cable 13.00 FP; cheap nylon board carrying case 10.00 (but if it was not associated w/ Wii fit board I’d pass if it were over 5.00 at a local store). However if you price all items separately,(4+15+30+20+15=85),then even the 60.00 price seems reasonable. This set certainly serves its purpose but I expect to eventually replace all pieces due to normal wear & tear. Hopefully higher quality brands and appropriate price points will be available by then.
1 Star wrong thing
I thought I was buying the balance board also in the box. we have not used it yet I am waiting to find a balance board.
5 Stars Happy with Wii
I was happy to find this product online because local stores were out of stock. It’s a fine game.
3 Stars Not as expected
Did not realize this did not have a game or exercise program with it. I gave it as a gift and they have not used it yet as they have not bought a game or program to go with it. Hard to really evaluated.
1 Star Questionable marketing by Dream Gear
Purchased the 5 in 1 Fitness Bundle for my wife for Xmas. The bundle itself, in theory, was very appropriate for the Wii Fit. The battery and charger, from the get go, wouldn’t hold a charge. Contact with DreamGear yielded no results other than the usual dog and pony show of apologies and excuses with the problem surrounding the rechargeable totally ignored and unresolved. The company Director did not have the courtesy to return calls to discuss the matter. Out of all this, it was learned from DreamGear, that the use of the battery pack would result in the voiding of the warranty, confirmed later by direct contact by Nintendo. If buying this DreamGear product , or even thinking of it, save your money. The product is shabby and the customer service is even shabbier.
