5 Stars It has been years!
It has been years since I truly liked a video game. When I was half my age I played video games all the time, and I also wrote several of them. For various reasons, the fun faded about 15 years back. But Outdoor Challenge is great. I’m happy when I play it and I’m happy when my kids play it. Number one, it’s good exercise; I too worked up a sweat with it. Number two, the component games have some depth to them (which not everyone notices — try the harder levels!). Number three, artistically the game is peppy and tasteful; it’s neither cluttered, nor violent, nor granola-boring. I don’t care so much that the graphics isn’t stunning like Pixar; it’s still pretty good.

This is not to say that the game is perfect. The graphics could be better; the mat slips sometimes (it needs rubber on the bottom); it has some depth but it could have more; it should use the Wiimote more; the menu navigation is a bit circuitous. Again, it’s great despite all of that. It’s very original. I hope that they publish a sequel.

A few reviewers may have tried it on children who are too small. Yes, they have to learn not to run off the mat. Children under the age of 7 or so may need some coaching to enjoy the game.

4 Stars A fun game
It is a fun game, and I actually get out of breathe playing it. The only complaint that I have is that my boyfriend and I don’t both really fit on the mat together when we’re playing!!

5 Stars Great Fun
I have some friends that come over and we do enjoy playing it. I have to sit in a chair as my feet bother me but it really is a workout and gets my heart pounding. You play and before you know it 2 hours have gone by.
