5 Stars Rock Band Drum Silencers…a good add on
The silencers definitely cut down on the excess noise produced when sticks hit the drum pads which is quite distracting.
4 Stars OoooH That Smell
Works great and makes things a lot less noisy. It also is great for protecting the drums from wear and tear.
The down side is the smell. I mean wow it almost gets you high with all the chems you smell coming off these things. We have had them for over a week and it is still a very strong odor.
Overall great and I am sure in time as the smell goes away it will be perfect.
4 Stars Easy to put on, look great, great protection
I bought these drum silencers for my wii Rock Band 2 drum set. As far as I can tell, they don’t do much noise reduction. There’s some, but not enough to get excited about. I purchased these more for protection of my drum pads. My red pad was starting to bubble and knowing that would eventually lead to my pad not working at all, I bought these to protect them. One month later and my set is still working great so they’re doing their job. Also, they look nice. I’ve known some people to use different home modifications to silence/protect their drums, but none of those methods look as nice as these. I think they’re worth the money. Anything to save me from yet another RMA with EA.
