Look at him. Reggie. Shrugging as if Nintendo didn’t sell 5 million units of hardware in the month of December. Yeah, five-freaking-million. That’s 3 million DSs and 2 million Wiis. Good lord. According to Kotaku, “no video game platform has ever sold more than 3 million units in one month, breaking the PlayStation 2s record of 2.7 million in December of 2002.” That also means that Nintendo led the hardware during every single month in 2008.
