5 Stars star wars is a home favorite
My son is almost nine and LOVES this game. It’s the type of game I look for when picking games for my kids. It is a game they CAN play and love to play it doesn’t get boring and they don’t get to a point where they don’t know what they need to do to progress. An excellent game!

5 Stars We love Lego Star Wars
Me and my 5 year old play this game all the time. It is great, we do 2 players in a one player game. I “drive” the guy around with the nuchuck and he slashes the droids and vilians with the light saber. We have copleted most of the levels, except, the lava planet. For only $[...] we have had about 40 hours of FUN locked in side this winter! What a deal and what FUN!

5 Stars Great fun. Perfect for playing with little kids
I play this with my 5yr old son all the time. The co-operative nature of play and the ability to just keep moving forward is great for younger players. Older players can concentrate on opening every secret and accumulating a lot of points. Best $20 game ever.

4 Stars Lego Star Wars
Great game, had me hooked right away. Easy to play but hard enough to make it fun.

5 Stars Good for the whole family
We got this game mainly for our 7 year old to play. He loves it and really enjoys playing with his Dad. I must admit I even enjoy playing it with him! The game play is fun with just enough of a challenge to keep my son interested and only occasionally frustrated! We are pretty strict about content and what he can watch and play but so far this game has been fine for him to play. There are even some funny things the adults will get a kick out of! All in all, we have been very happy with this game. My only complaint would be that during regular game play, you can not save your progress until you complete a level. This has lead to a few meltdowns when time is up and he is not done with a level yet. We solve this problem by warning him when time is short to play in free play mode where you can save your progress. No more troubles!

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels allows players on the Wii to step right into the world of the all-new Star Wars: Clone Wars animated feature film and television series, ready for action with a lightsaber at their side. Set in context between Star Wars movies, Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, it unveils a whole new and interactive chapter in the Star Wars saga.

    A Fully Integrated Storyline
Designed from the ground up as a counterpart to Star Wars: Clone Wars both visually and narratively, Lightsaber Duels follows the plot line of the animated feature and series closely. Here players will encounter familiar faces representing both sides of the Force, as well as many new ones, as they take on missions on behalf of the Jedi Council, or in spite of it, during the troubling times of the Clone Wars. The highlight of these missions will be the memorable lightsaber duels and the Jedi and Sith players will battle against in them. These duels are designed to mirror as closely as possible the encounters faced in the animated adventures, to the point that they are even introduced by cinematic segments pulled right from the series and feature film. In addition, utilizing writing talent from both of these related projects, as well as a majority of the voice talent as well in a truly collaborative manner, players can expect to see things in the game that eventually make it to the TV show and vice versa.

Gameplay
One of the most anticipated uses of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck controller configuration in the history of the Wii gaming system, gameplay in Lightsaber Duels is all about introducing players into the civilized but deadly world of hand to hand Jedi combat techniques. That means no blasters here. As the game’s subtitle suggests, whether playing as a servant of the will of the Jedi Council or the Dark Side of the Force, players will wield a lightsaber in one hand and the power of the force in the other.
Far from requiring players to build up their skills and knowledge of the Force, the goal of the control scheme of Lightsaber Duels is actually designed to make even beginning gamers a force to be reckoned from the first duel they face. Left and right motions of the remote equate to light damage, up and down slashes represent medium damage and stabbing motions do maximum damage.

4 Stars My son says, “This is WAY fun”
I’ve been waiting for a Star Wars video game that actually lets kids feel like a Jedi and took advantage of the features of the more active Wii. This one is it. My sons love it and I love that they get to jump around and wave their light sabers.

2 Stars Try again…..
My son was really looking forward to this game (big Star Wars and Wii fan). We also got the glowing light sabers (very disappointing, reviewed separately).

For the first 15 minutes it is fun but after a while the game gets repetitive. The graphics are not as good as I had hoped. Aside from a couple of tries over the holiday period the game has not been used.

There seemed to be plenty of room for improvement on both the game play and graphics aspects of the game, overall my son and I were rather disappointed.

4 Stars Where’s Yoda?
(Imagine this being said in Master Yoda’s voice…)

Without the Master Jedi Yoda this game is not what cracked up to be it is!

Fought I did with all characters and fun it was… Each having an individual fighting style and unique combos great fun it makes it. Feelings of really being in the Star Wars Universe it made me. Reminded of older fighting style games like Mortal Kombat I was. Only the difference was the wiimote control style of swinging which was easy to master even for my padawans of the ages 4 and 9. My two only complaints are when playing Sith characters like Count Dooku, Ventress and EG-5 Special Moves (force lightning and Dark Blast) were not listed in the combo list anywhere, yet it required its knowledge to complete challenges… and of course where is master Yoda, he is in the movie and the cartoon show… where is he in this game I ask you?

3 Stars Good introduction game for young Star Wars fans
Building on the success of both Lego Star Wars videogames, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga enables families to play through the events of all six Star Wars movies in one videogame for the first time ever. Developer Traveller’s Tales has brought the action to the Nintendo Wii, with motion-sensitive inputs that give you exciting new ways to control your Lego Star Wars characters, while also adding new characters, new levels and new features. The upgraded Character Customizer includes all Prequel Trilogy characters for the first time, while also expanding its customization options well beyond those in Lego Star Wars II, for millions more possibilities. Create cross-Trilogy mash-up characters like Han Windu and Lando Amidala. New game features include enhanced Force powers, new power-ups, and a new Challenge Mode. Levels from the original Lego Star Wars are revamped to meet the gameplay evolutions of Lego Star Wars II. ESRB Rated E10 for gamers aged 10 and up.

5 Stars Great game for all ages!!
All of my chidren love this game. Ages 4,8,11. Boys and girls. Also a must for my husband. Great fun for all.

5 Stars This one is a must have for the little ones… I love it too!
We purchased this title for my 6 year old son. The platform is amazing and the world that you can roam within the game is seemingly endless. The controls are fairly simple to master and it requires you to use some ingenuity to navigate the levels…

It is a great two player game where you can work as a team. Even after completing the game, several features are unlocked that cause you to want to go back and play again and again. I would strongly recommend this title along with the other Lego series (Indiana Jones and Batman).

5 Stars Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for WII
This was a gift for my nephew, he has played the Lego Star wars for Nintendo, but cannot wait until he has the WII to play this game.

4 Stars Lots of fun
This game is pretty fun. My 4 yr old loves swing the light saber. It was pretty easy for him to figure out. I can play with him. There are puzzles to figure out, and I can work on that stuff while he fights off the bad guys. We have only made it through a few levels, and it seems as if there are tons to go. It should keeps us busy and interested.

5 Stars fun game
I bought lego star wars for my kids and they love it. They can spend hours playing this game.
